The LAMMA Show 2026 held recently at the NEC Birmingham, once again proved why it is the UK’s leading agricultural machinery and technology event. Drawing thousands of farmers, contractors and industry professionals, it delivered major product showcases, live demos and milestones from some of the sector’s most recognisable brands including Fendt, JCB and Valtra.
Fendt: New Tractor Launches and 30 Years of Vario
Fendt enjoyed a strong presence at LAMMA 2026, combining forward-thinking technology with a look back at one of its most important engineering achievements.
Visitors were able to see the latest Fendt tractor developments, including models from the highly anticipated 800 Vario range, designed to offer increased power, efficiency and operator comfort. These tractors are aimed squarely at modern mixed and arable farming operations, delivering the reliability and performance Fendt is known for.
Alongside new machinery, Fendt also marked 30 years of its pioneering Vario continuously variable transmission. The Vario system has become an industry benchmark, transforming how tractors deliver smooth power and fuel efficiency. The anniversary display highlighted how the technology has evolved over three decades and continues to shape modern farming.
JCB: Fastrac Performance in the Demo Zone
JCB once again drew crowds with its machines taking centre stage in the LAMMA 2026 Demo Zone. The JCB Fastrac 6000 Series was a particular highlight, demonstrating its unique combination of high-speed road capability and strong field performance.
