Parts Adviser – Bruton depot
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding Parts team. You will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the Parts Department.
Key responsibilities
- Fielding enquiries from a large customer base, both in person and over the phone.
- ‘Front of house’ duties – Greeting/directing customers and visitors
- Ordering parts from suppliers, ensuring they are received and stored correctly.
- Supplying parts to external and internal customers in a timely manner.
- Dealing with deliveries, unloading and price checking.
- Stock checks and audits as necessary.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential:
- Effective communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Customer service skills
- Good IT skills
- Quick learner
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Motivated and able to organise own workload
- Previous parts department experience or agricultural machinery knowledge
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Fendt/Valtra specific knowledge
- Ibcos experience
